I have Suzuki saddlebag supports on my 86 Savage and
as most know, the support bolts rub the tire if you
ride double-up on it. I have the shocks adjusted
high but it still rubs every now and then.
Is there another way to support the bags? I thought
about using only the back bolt to hold the support
and just cutting the front part off, since this
seems to be the part that is rubbing my tire.
Or maybe bolting it on one of the acorn nuts towards
the front part of the rail and cutting the rear part
of the support.
